Sa Sainteté Gyalwang Drukpa s'est déplacé au Ladakh, visitant tous les villages touchés par les inondations, notamment Saboo, Phyang, Choglamsar et réconfortant les villageois durement affectés.  

Son message du Ladakh : "People are in trauma. When they hear the sounds of rain or thunder, they want to get out of the house immediately and run for their lives, even those who were in their sick beds in the hospitals were jumping out of their beds the night before when it rained. We need to give them imm..ediate assurance that everything will be fine and we are there to support them."
